Meursault Genevrières is a wine of surprising structure, powerful and very mineral at the same time, with an exceptional amplitude and length on the palate. Genevrières: this name evokes a shrub that was once very abundant at the top of the Côte, juniper.
The wine we produce is light, chiselled and precise, a model of class and refinement! It has a brilliant golden colour and a sumptuous nose, with floral aromas of lime blossom and wild herbs. On the palate, there's an assertive minerality reminiscent of gunflint, accompanied by subtle notes of fresh almond and honey. On the palate, this wine reveals obvious class, with a taut structure enriched by a pulpy sensation that magnifies the whole. A subtle harmony unfolds thanks to its crystalline style, underlined by ripe white fruit. It's the perfect accompaniment to just about anything noble. Meat and fish of fine texture, grilled shellfish or shellfish in sauce, all play with the lively, supple balance of Meursault Genevrières. Even blue cheeses and foie gras go down well with it on the first try.
